Abu Qasim said, "If I had gold the size of Mount Uhud, it would please me to spend it in the path of Allah and that not three nights pass while I still have a single dinar or dirham of it left, except what I would set aside for a debt I owe."

قال أبو القاسم لو كان أحد عندي ذهبا لسرني أن أنفقه في سبيل الله وأن لا يأتي عليه ثلاثة وعندي منه دينار ولا درهم إلا شيء أرصده في دين يكون علي
Its isnad is sahih. Musa bin Yasar Madani is a trustworthy successor (tabii thiqah), and Ibn Main and others have confirmed his reliability. He is the paternal uncle of Muhammad bin Ishaq bin Yasar, the author of the Sirah, who narrates from him here. Bukhari included his biography in al-Kabir 4/1/298, and Ibn Abu Hatim in 4/1/168. He was mentioned earlier in the commentary on 7350. Bukhari narrated this hadith with similar wording in 5:42 and 11:228, through the route of Zuhri, from Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Utba, from Abu Hurairah. He also narrated it in 13:187, through the route of Mamar, from Hammam bin Munabbih, from Abu Hurairah. The Hafiz stated explicitly in al-Fath 5:55 that this is among the narrations unique to Bukhari, and that Muslim did not narrate it.As for his saying "arsadahu" (he set it aside for him), the Hafiz said in al-Fath, "What is established in our narration is with the first letter pronounced with damma, from the four-letter verb form." Ibn Tin reported that in some narrations it appears with the hamza pronounced with fatha, from "rasada," but the first reading is more fitting. You say "arsadtuhu," meaning I prepared it and made it ready for him, while "rasadtuhu" means I watched over it.
