The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whatever is beneath the lower garment is in the Fire."Khaffaf narrated to us from Abu Yaqub. In the handwriting of al-Tujibi, the correct reading is "from Ibn Yaqub," who is Abdul-Rahman bin Yaqub, the freed slave of al-Hurqah and the father of Ala, and this is his hadith.

[Shakir: 7461] Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it, 4093, from Yahya bin Muin, from Yazid bin Harun, with this isnad, except that he did not mention "from Abu Hurairah," but rather mentioned it as a balaagh (an unconnected report). We have already discussed this hadith at length, along with its verification, in the commentary on the preceding isnad, 7460. We also mentioned there that this is the isnad in which occurs the wording that Ibn Kathir mentioned, which we quoted earlier.
