"By Allah, I will bring you closest to the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said, Abu Hurairah used to recite the qunut in the last rakah of the noon prayer, the night prayer, and the dawn prayer. Abu Amir said in his narration, "the late night prayer and the dawn prayer," after saying, "Allah hears whoever praises Him," supplicating for the believers and cursing the disbelievers. Abu Amir said, "and cursing the disbelievers."
حدثنا أبو قطن وأبو عامر قالا حدثنا هشام يعني الدستوائي عن يحيى عن أبي سلمة
والله لأقربن بكم صلاة رسول الله ﷺ قال فكان أبو هريرة يقنت في الركعة الآخرة من صلاة الظهر وصلاة العشاء وصلاة الصبح قال أبو عامر في حديثه العشاء الآخرة وصلاة الصبح بعدما يقول سمع الله لمن حمده ويدعو للمؤمنين ويلعن الكفار وقال أبو عامر ويلعن الكافرين
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abu Qatan, with fatha on the qaf and the unpointed ta, is Amr bin Haytham bin Qatan, whose reliability was already established at 1053.
