The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever prays over a funeral receives one qirat, and whoever waits until the burial is complete receives two qirats."They asked, "What are the two qirats?"He replied, "Like two enormous mountains."
حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب
قال رسول الله ﷺ من صلى على جنازة فله قيراط ومن انتظر حتى يفرغ منها فله قيراطان قالوا وما القيراطان قال مثل الجبلين العظيمين
Its isnad is sahih. Muslim narrated it 1:259, through Abdul-Ala and Abdul-Razzaq, both from Mamar, with this same isnad. He also narrated it before and after this, through other routes from Abu Hurairah. Bukhari narrated it 1:100, and 3:158-159, through other routes from him as well.
