Jibreel came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, here is Khadijah coming to you with a vessel containing seasoning, food, or drink. When she reaches you, convey to her the greeting of peace from her Lord and from me, and give her the good news of a house in Paradise made of hollow pearls, where there will be no noise and no toil."
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Umara is Ibn Qaqa bin Shubruma Dabbi, whose reliability was already established at 4198, and we add here that Ibn Saad gave his biography in al-Tabaqat 6:245. Abu Zura is Ibn Amr bin Jareer bin Abdullah Bajali, whose reliability was already established at 4198, and we add here that Ibn Saad gave his biography in al-Tabaqat 6:208.Bukhari related the hadith at 105, and Muslim at 2:243, both through Muhammad bin Fudayl, with this same chain. Hakim also related it in al-Mustadrak 3:185, through this very Musnad, with this same chain, and said, "This is a hadith that is sahih according to the criteria of the two Shaikhs, though they did not both include it with this wording!" Dhahabi agreed with him!But both of them, may Allah have mercy on them, were mistaken, for the hadith is found in the Sahihayn with this very chain and this very wording. Hafiz referred to it in al-Isabah 8:61, in the biography of Khadijah, but attributed it to Muslim alone, which might mislead a reader who is not a careful researcher into thinking that Bukhari did not relate it, when in fact he did, as we have mentioned. The glad tidings given to Khadijah through this are also established through the hadith of Abdullah bin Jafar, as already noted at 1758, and through the hadith of Ibn Abu Awfa, found in the two Shaikhs, and which will come in the Musnad at 4:355, 356, 381h, and through the hadith of Ayesha, also found in the two Shaikhs, and which will come in the Musnad at 6:58, 202, 279h. The tafsir of the unfamiliar wording in this hadith was already given at 1758. See that in detail in al-Fath 7:104.
