I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was wearing two green cloaks.
حدثنا عبد الله حدثني أبي وأبو خيثمة زهير بن حرب قالا حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي حدثنا عبيد الله بن إياد بن لقيط عن أبيه
أتيت رسول الله ﷺ وعليه بردان أخضران
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a shortened version of what came before it. It is narrated by Abdullah bin Ahmad from his father and from Zuhayr bin Harb, both of them from Ibn Mahdi.
