I came to the Prophet ﷺ with a son of mine. He asked, "Is this your son?"I replied, "I bear witness that he is."He said, "He cannot bring guilt upon you, nor can you bring guilt upon him."The narrator added, "And I saw that his grey hair was reddish."

أتيت النبي ﷺ ومعي ابن لي فقال ابنك هذا قلت أشهد به قال لا يجني عليك ولا تجني عليه قال ورأيت الشيب أحمر
Its chain of transmission is sahih, despite the error of Abdul-Malik bin Umayr in it, in claiming that Abu Rimtha had his son with him, as we explained in 7106 and 7111.Amr bin Muhammad bin Bukayr the critic, his reliability was already established at 1331, and we add here that Ibn Abu Hatim gave his biography in Jarh wa Tadil 1/3/262.Hushaym, with the diminutive form, is Ibn Bashir, with the ba pronounced with a fatha and the shin pronounced with a kasra.This hadith is among the additions of Abdullah. It will come again at 17564, through the narration of Imam Ahmad from Hushaym, with this same chain. Its meaning has already been repeated many times before.
