The Prophet ﷺ said, "The hand of the giver is the upper one. Give to your mother, your father, your sister, and your brother, then to those nearest to you, and then the next nearest."A man said, "Messenger of Allah, these are the tribe of Banu Yarbu, the killers of so-and-so."He replied, "No soul commits a crime against another."Ubayy said, Abu Nadr stated in his version of the hadith, "I entered the mosque and there was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ giving a sermon, saying, 'The hand of the giver is the upper one.'"
حدثنا عمرو بن الهيثم أبو قطن وأبو النضر قالا حدثنا المسعودي عن إياد بن لقيط
عن النبي ﷺ قال يد المعطي العليا أمك وأباك وأختك وأخاك ثم أدناك أدناك وقال رجل يا رسول الله هؤلاء بنو يربوع قتلة فلان قال ألا لا تجني نفس على أخرى و قال أبي قال أبو النضر في حديثه دخلت المسجد فإذا رسول الله ﷺ يخطب ويقول يد المعطي العليا
