I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever is killed unjustly defending his property will enter Paradise."
حدثنا عبد الله بن يزيد حدثنا سعيد بن أبي أيوب حدثني أبو الأسود عن عكرمة مولى ابن عباس
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول من قتل دون ماله مظلوما فله الجنة
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Aswad is the ward of Urwa, and his name is Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Nawfal, whose reliability was established earlier at 5900. In Tahdhib 7:4, in the biography of Saeed bin Abu Ayub, it states, "He narrated from Abu Aswad and Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Nawfal." This "and" between the kunya and the name is a printing error, giving the false impression that they are two different people, and removing it is the correct reading.Ikrima is the freedman of Ibn Abbas, the well-known successor. This hadith has appeared before with the same meaning many times, through different routes, the first being 6522, where we noted it, and the last being 7055.
