On the Day of Sacrifice, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood by his mount while people kept asking him questions.One of them said, "Messenger of Allah, I did not realize that the stoning came before the sacrifice, so I sacrificed before stoning."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Stone now, there is no harm."Another came forward and said, "Messenger of Allah, I did not realize that the sacrifice came before shaving, so I shaved before I sacrificed."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Sacrifice now, there is no harm."The narrator said, I did not hear him asked that day about anything a person might forget or not know regarding the order of these rites and similar matters, except that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do it, there is no harm."
حدثنا يعقوب حدثنى أبي عن صالح قال ابن شهاب حدثني عيسى بن طلحة بن عبيد الله أنه سمع
وقف رسول الله ﷺ يوم النحر على راحلته فطفق يسألونه فيقول القائل منهم يا رسول الله إني لم أكن أشعر أن الرمي قبل النحر فنحرت قبل أن أرمي فقال رسول الله ﷺ ارم ولا حرج وطفق آخر فقال يا رسول الله إني لم أشعر أن النحر قبل الحلق فحلقت قبل أن أنحر فيقول رسول الله ﷺ انحر ولا حرج قال فما سمعته يومئذ يسأل عن أمر مما ينسى الإنسان أو يجهل من تقديم الأمور بعضها قبل بعض وأشباهها إلا قال رسول الله ﷺ افعله ولا حرج
