I came to Abdullah bin Amr and said, "Tell me what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, and do not tell me from the Torah or the Gospel."He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'The Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe, and the emigrant is one who abandons what Allah has forbidden.'"
حدثنا أبو الجواب حدثنا عمار بن رزيق عن الأعمش
أتيت عبد الله بن عمرو فقلت حدثني ما سمعت من رسول الله ﷺ يقول ولا تحدثني عن التوراة والإنجيل فقال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول المسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده والمهاجر من هجر ما نهى الله عنه
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Jawwab is Ahwas bin Jawwab Dabbi. Ammar bin Raziq, his reliability was established earlier at 2883. Raziq is with the ra vowelled with damma and the za with fatha. In H it appears as Zurayq, with the za preceding, but this is a copying error. The hadith appears in full at 6889, and abridged at 6925.
