Shahr bin Hawshab reported,

Abdullah bin Amr came upon Nawf al-Bikali while he was narrating, so Nawf said to him, "You narrate, for we have been forbidden from narrating."Abdullah replied, "I would not narrate while there is among us a man who is one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and from Quraysh as well."So Abdullah bin Amr said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'There will be migration after migration, and the best of people on earth,'" Abdul-Samad said, "to the best of the earth," "will go to the place of Ibrahim's migration. There will remain on earth the worst of its people, whom the earth will cast out, whom Allah's soul will detest, and whom the fire will gather along with apes and swine."Then Nawf said again, "You narrate, for we have been forbidden from narrating."Abdullah replied, "I would not narrate while there is among us a man who is one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and from Quraysh as well."So Abdullah bin Amr said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'A people will come forth from the direction of the east, reciting the Quran, but it will not pass beyond their throats. Every time one generation is cut off, another will arise, until the Dajjal emerges among the last of them.'"

حدثنا أبو داود وعبد الصمد المعنى قالا حدثنا هشام عن قتادة

عن شهر قال

أتى عبد الله بن عمرو على نوف البكالي وهو يحدث فقال حدث فإنا قد نهينا عن الحديث قال ما كنت لأحدث وعندي رجل من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ ثم من قريش فقال عبد الله بن عمرو سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول ستكون هجرة بعد هجرة فخيار الأرض قال عبد الصمد لخيار الأرض إلى مهاجر إبراهيم فيبقى في الأرض شرار أهلها تلفظهم الأرض وتقذرهم نفس الله عز وجل وتحشرهم النار مع القردة والخنازير ثم قال حدث فإنا قد نهينا عن الحديث فقال ما كنت لأحدث وعندي رجل من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ ثم من قريش فقال عبد الله بن عمرو سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول يخرج قوم من قبل المشرق يقرءون القرآن لا يجاوز تراقيهم كلما قطع قرن نشأ قرن حتى يخرج في بقيتهم الدجال
