I saw Abdullah bin Amr bin As, whose home was in the area outside the sacred precinct while his mosque was within the sacred precinct.While I was with him, he saw Umm Saeed, the daughter of Abu Jahl, walking with a bow slung across her shoulder, striding like a man.Abdullah asked, "Who is this?"Hudhali replied, "I said, this is Umm Saeed, daughter of Abu Jahl."Abdullah then said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'He is not one of us, the woman who imitates men, nor the man who imitates women.'"
حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا عمر بن حوشب رجل صالح أخبرني عمرو بن دينار عن عطاء
رأيت عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص ومنزله في الحل ومسجده في الحرم قال فبينا أنا عنده رأى أم سعيد ابنة أبي جهل متقلدة قوسا وهي تمشي مشية الرجل فقال عبد الله من هذه قال الهذلي فقلت هذه أم سعيد بنت أبي جهل فقال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول ليس منا من تشبه بالرجال من النساء ولا من تشبه بالنساء من الرجال
