I came to Abdullah bin Amr bin As and said to him, "Tell us what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."He placed before me a parchment and said, "This is what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wrote down for me."I looked at it, and in it I found that Abu Bakr al-Siddiq had said, "Messenger of Allah, teach me what to say when I rise in the morning and when I enter the evening."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Abu Bakr, say, 'O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, there is no god but You, Lord of all things and their Sovereign. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own self, from the evil of Satan and his incitement to associate partners with You, and from committing any wrong against myself or bringing it upon a Muslim.'"
حدثنا خلف بن الوليد حدثنا ابن عياش عن محمد بن زياد الألهاني
أتيت عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص فقلت له حدثنا ما سمعت من رسول الله ﷺ فألقى بين يدي صحيفة فقال هذا ما كتب لي رسول الله ﷺ فنظرت فيها فإذا فيها أن أبا بكر الصديق قال يا رسول الله علمني ما أقول إذا أصبحت وإذا أمسيت فقال له رسول الله ﷺ يا أبا بكر قل اللهم فاطر السموات والأرض عالم الغيب والشهادة لا إله إلا أنت رب كل شيء ومليكه أعوذ بك من شر نفسي ومن شر الشيطان وشركه وأن أقترف على نفسي سوءا أو أجره إلى مسلم
