The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray the Duha prayer.
حدثنا سليمان بن داود أنبأنا شعبة عن أبي إسحاق سمع عاصم بن ضمرة
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يصلي من الضحى

Its isnad is sahih. Sulayman bin Dawud is Abu Dawud Tayalisi, the hafiz and imam, author of the printed Musnad, and the hadith is found there under number 127. It is also in Majma al-Zawaid 2/235, where it is attributed as well to Abu Yaala, and it is said, the men of Ahmad are trustworthy. It will come again in fuller form at 1251.
