The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever kills intentionally is to be handed over to the relatives of the slain. If they wish, they may put him to death, and if they wish, they may take the blood-money, which consists of thirty four-year-old she-camels, thirty five-year-old she-camels, and forty pregnant she-camels. That is the blood-money for intentional killing. Whatever they settle upon by agreement belongs to them, and that is the heavier blood-money."
حدثنا أبو النضر وعبد الصمد قالا حدثنا محمد حدثنا سليمان يعني ابن موسى
أن النبي ﷺ قال من قتل متعمدا دفع إلى أولياء القتيل فإن شاءوا قتلوه وإن شاءوا أخذوا الدية وهي ثلاثون حقة وثلاثون جذعة وأربعون خلفة وذلك عقل العمد وما صالحوا عليه فهو لهم وذلك تشديد العقل
