The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who pays it, its two witnesses, the one who records it, the woman who tattoos others, the woman who has herself tattooed, the man who marries a divorced woman to make her lawful for her former husband, the man for whom this is done, and the one who withholds charity. He also forbade wailing over the dead.
