The Prophet ﷺ used to perform the witr prayer at the time of the call to prayer and pray the two rakahs at the time of the iqamah.
حدثنا إبراهيم بن أبي العباس حدثنا شريك عن أبي إسحاق عن الحارث
عن النبي ﷺ قال كان يوتر عند الأذان ويصلي الركعتين عند الإقامة
Its isnad is daif due to the weakness of Harith Awar. Sharik is the judge, Ibn Abdullah bin Abu Sharik Nakhai, and he is trustworthy, dependable, and prolific in hadith, though he used to make mistakes, as Ibn Saad said. Abu Ishaq is Subayi. Ibrahim bin Abu Abbas, the teacher of Ahmad, is the Kufan, Samiri, with the mim having a fatha and the ra having a light kasra, as noted by Hafiz Abdul-Ghani in Mushtabih Nisbah and by Dhahabi in Mushtabih, and he is trustworthy. He has a biographical entry in Tarikh al-Kabir 1/1/209.
