Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abu Kamil is Muzaffar bin Mudrik Khurasani. Abdullah bin Umar Umari, his reliability was already established at 5655. Here in [manuscript] M, Ubaydullah bin Umar Umari appears in his place, meaning his brother, but it seems to me that this is an error at this point, because they most often use the name "Umari" when referring to Abdullah with the augmented form, and it is rare for them to apply it to his brother Ubaydullah with the diminutive form. Moreover, it is unlikely that Abu Kamil Khurasani could have heard directly from Ubaydullah, since he died in the year 207, while Ubaydullah died in the year 147 or before that, meaning there are more than 60 years between their two deaths. Had he actually heard from him, they would have taken care to note this explicitly, given how elevated the chain of transmission would then be. As for Abdullah bin Umar Umari, he died in the year 171 or 172, long after his brother.As for the hadith itself, Ubaydullah also narrated it from Amr bin Shuayb, as we will mention. Ahmad narrated it, as will come later at 6674, from Yahya Qattan, from Ubaydullah, from Amr bin Shuayb, with this wording. He likewise narrated it in Kitab Ashribah (p. 7) from Yahya. Nasai narrated it (2:326-327), and Bayhaqi (296), both of them through Yahya bin Saeed Qattan, with this wording. Ibn Majah narrated it (2:173) through Anas bin Iyad, and Daraqutni (532) through Walid bin Kathir, both of them from Ubaydullah, with this wording.Furthermore, Abu Kamil Khurasani was not the only one to narrate it from Abdullah bin Umar Umari. Bayhaqi, after narrating it through Yahya Qattan from Ubaydullah, said, "Abdullah bin Umar likewise narrated it from Amr," meaning Amr bin Shuayb. He then narrated it with his chain of transmission through Ibn Wahb, "Abdullah bin Umar informed me, from Amr bin Shuayb, from his father, from Abdullah bin Amr bin As," and mentioned it as a saying of the Prophet.Zaylai mentioned in Nasb Raya (4:301) that Abdul-Razzaq narrated it in his Musannaf, "Abdullah bin Umar informed us, from Amr," with this wording. Its meaning has already appeared from the hadith of Abdullah bin Umar bin Khattab with a daif chain of transmission at 5648.
