The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The sun will rise from its place of setting, and the Beast will emerge upon people in the forenoon. Whichever of the two appears first, the other will follow close behind. I think the rising of the sun from its place of setting will be the first of them."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا سفيان عن أبي حيان عن أبي زرعة
قال رسول الله ﷺ تطلع الشمس من مغربها وتخرج الدابة على الناس ضحى فأيهما خرج قبل صاحبه فالأخرى منها قريب ولا أحسبه إلا طلوع الشمس من مغربها هي التي أولا
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Hayan is Taymi. Abu Zura is Ibn Amr bin Jareer bin Abdullah Bajali, whose biography has already been given at 4198.The hadith was narrated by Tayalisi, 2248, at length, and by Muslim, 2:379, also at length, and by Abu Dawud, 4310 (4:191-192 of Awn al-Mabud), also at length, and by Ibn Majah, 2:262, in abbreviated form, all of them through the route of Abu Hayan Taymi, with this same isnad.The addition of [that he should say] comes from the copy in the margin of manuscript M.
