Its isnad is sahih. Sufyan is Thawri. Nasai related the hadith 1:34 in this abbreviated form, through Jareer from Mansur, with this same isnad. Muslim 1:84, Abu Dawud 97 (1:36 of Awn al-Mabud), Nasai 1:30, and Ibn Majah 1:87 all related it, and they related it at length through Mansur with this same isnad. Munziri said (number 87), Bukhari and Muslim agreed on including it from the hadith of Yusuf bin Mahak from Abdullah bin Amr, in similar wording. It will come at length through the narration of Abu Yahya, 6809 and 6883, and through the narration of Yusuf bin Mahak, 6911, 6976, and 7103.
