حدثنا عبد الله قال وجدت هذا الحديث في كتاب أبي بخط يده حدثنا علي بن حفص حدثنا ورقاء عن عطاء يعني ابن السائب عن ابن جبير {إنا أعطيناك الكوثر} هو الخير الكثير وقال عطاء عن محارب بن دثار
قال لنا رسول الله ﷺ الكوثر نهر في الجنة حافتاه من ذهب والماء يجري على اللؤلؤ وماؤه أشد بياضا من اللبن وأحلى من العسل آخر مسند عبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما
Its chain of transmission is sahih. It has already appeared with this same chain at 5355 as something Abdullah bin Ahmad heard from his father, but without the mention of Saeed bin Jubayr's tafsir of Kawthar, which is mentioned here. It has also already appeared at length at 5913, through the narration of Hammad from Ata bin Saaib. We have explained it in both places. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
