The Prophet ﷺ commanded that the zakat al-fitr be paid before the people go out to the prayer.
حدثنا محمد بن إسماعيل بن أبي فديك حدثنا الضحاك يعني ابن عثمان عن نافع
عن النبي ﷺ أنه أمر بإخراج الزكاة زكاة الفطر أن تؤدى قبل خروج الناس إلى الصلاة
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 6429. Muslim also reported it, 1:269, from Muhammad bin Rafi from Abu Fudayk, with this isnad, similarly.
