I was with Ibn Umar when a man came to him.Ibn Umar asked, "Who are you from?"The man replied, "From Aslam."Ibn Umar said, "Shall I give you good news, brother of Aslam? I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Ghifar, may Allah forgive them, and Aslam, may Allah keep them safe.'"

كنت عند ابن عمر فجاءه رجل فقال ممن أنت قال من أسلم قال ألا أبشرك يا أخا أسلم سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول غفار غفر الله لها وأسلم سالمها الله
Its isnad is sahih. Ishaq bin Saeed, his reliability was already established at 5680. His father, Saeed bin Amr bin Saeed, his reliability was already established at 5017. The hadith was previously mentioned without this story, from Hashim Abu Nadr, from Ishaq bin Saeed, from his father, at 6040, and it was previously mentioned through the narration of Tayalisi, from Shubah, from Saeed bin Amr, that he came upon Ibn Umar while he was narrating the hadith, and he asked, "What did he narrate?" So they related the hadith to him. There we concluded that it carries the meaning of a connected chain, because Saeed asked the companions of Ibn Umar who were present at the gathering, in that same gathering.This narration shows that he heard it from Ibn Umar on another occasion, when Ibn Umar gave the good news to the man from the tribe of Aslam. Thus its connectedness is established from two angles, through the narration of Saeed bin Amr. Its meaning has already been given through other routes on numerous occasions, as we mentioned regarding the hadith before this one.This hadith, with this isnad, is found in Tayalisi's narration, in his Musnad, at 1953.
