Whoever prays during the night should make the last of his prayer the witr before dawn. This is what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to instruct them.
حدثنا عبد الرزاق وابن بكر قالا أخبرنا ابن جريج قال أخبرني نافع أن
من صلى من الليل فليجعل آخر صلاته وترا قبل الصبح كذلك كان رسول الله ﷺ يأمرهم
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of the previous hadith in meaning, but this one Ibn Jurayj heard directly from Nafi, while the other he heard from Sulayman bin Musa from Nafi, so he recorded each version as he heard it.This version was narrated by Muslim in his Sahih 2:2008, by way of Hajjaj bin Muhammad, who said, Ibn Jurayj said, "Nafi informed me..." and so on.
