The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should make his brother get up from his seat and then take his place."I asked him, meaning Ibn Jurayj, "Does this apply on Friday?"He replied, "On Friday and on other days."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا ابن جريج سمعت نافعا يقول إن
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يقم أحدكم أخاه من مجلسه ثم يخلفه فيه فقلت أنا له يعني ابن جريج في يوم الجمعة قال في يوم الجمعة وغيره
Its isnad is sahih, it is a repeat of 6062, and an abridgment of 685. His saying, "let him not remain," in a marginal copy of M, "let him not remain."
