Ayub reported from Nafi from Ibn Umar that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever keeps a dog, except for a dog used to guard livestock or for hunting, two qirats will be deducted from his reward each day."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق حدثنا معمر عن الزهري عن سالم
وأيوب عن نافع عن ابن عمر أن النبي ﷺ قال من اتخذ كلبا إلا كلب ماشية أو صيد انتقص من أجره كل يوم قيراطان
Both of its chains are sahih. Mamar narrates it from Zuhri and Ayub, Zuhri from Salim from Ibn Umar, and Ayub from Nafi from Ibn Umar. The meaning of this hadith has been mentioned several times before, most recently within 5925.
