Ali bin Abu Talib reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the use of gourd containers and pitch-coated vessels.Abu Abdul-Rahman said, I heard my father say, "There is no hadith narrated in Kufa from Ali 
more authentic than this one."

عن علي رضي الله عنه قال
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الدباء والمزفت قال أبو عبد الرحمن سمعت أبي يقول ليس بالكوفة عن علي رضي الله عنه حديث أصح من هذا
Its isnad is sahih. Harith bin Suwayd Taymi Kufi is trustworthy, and Ahmad here explicitly stated that this isnad is among the most sahih of isnads. Likewise, in al-Tahdhib 2:143, Ibn Main said, "Ibrahim Taymi from Harith bin Suwayd from Ali, there is nothing in Kufa with a better isnad than it."It was mentioned earlier, in the discussion of the most sahih isnads on page 148 of the first volume, as being from Sulayman Taymi from Harith bin Suwayd, but this is a mistake. The correct version is from Sulayman from Ibrahim Taymi from Harith bin Suwayd.The meaning of the hadith has already appeared in the hadith of Umar, 360.
