The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "People are like a herd of a hundred camels. You can scarcely find among them a single one fit for riding."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي حدثنا زهير عن زيد بن أسلم
قال رسول الله ﷺ إنما الناس كإبل مائة لا تكاد تجد فيها راحلة
Its isnad is sahih. Zuhayr is Ibn Muhammad Tamimi. The hadith has already appeared through many routes, the last of them being 6049. Its explanation was given in detail earlier at 4516, and in the supplement at 1277.
