Nafi reported,

Ibn Umar used to throw the pebbles at Jamrat al-Aqaba while mounted on his riding animal on the Day of Sacrifice. After that, he would only go to the other Jamras on foot, both going and returning. He claimed that the Prophet ﷺ would only go to them on foot, both going and returning.

عن نافع قال

كان ابن عمر يرمي جمرة العقبة على دابته يوم النحر وكان لا يأتي سائرها بعد ذلك إلا ماشيا ذاهبا وراجعا وزعم أن النبي ﷺ كان لا يأتيها إلا ماشيا ذاهبا وراجعا
