While we were sitting with Abdullah bin Umar, a man came and said, "So-and-so, a man from the people of Sham, sends his greetings of peace to you."Abdullah replied, "It has reached me that he has introduced an innovation. If that is so, do not convey my greetings of peace to him. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'There will be in my nation transformation, hurling of stones, and sinking of the earth, and that will be among the heretics and the Qadariyyah.'"
حدثنا هارون بن معروف أخبرنا عبد الله بن وهب أخبرني أبو صخر
بينما نحن عند عبد الله بن عمر قعودا إذ جاء رجل فقال إن فلانا يقرأ عليك السلام لرجل من أهل الشام فقال عبد الله بلغني أنه أحدث حدثا فإن كان كذلك فلا تقرأن عليه مني السلام سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إنه سيكون في أمتي مسخ وقذف وهو في الزنديقية والقدرية
