The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in that sandy valley when he came back returning from his pilgrimage. He said, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered Madinah, made his camel kneel at the door of his mosque, went inside and prayed two units of prayer there, and then went home.Nafi said that Abdullah bin Umar used to do the same.
حدثنا يعقوب حدثنا أبي عن ابن إسحاق حدثني نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ صلى حين أقبل من حجته قافلا في تلك البطحاء قال ثم دخل رسول الله ﷺ المدينة فأناخ على باب مسجده ثم دخله فركع فيه ركعتين ثم انصرف إلى بيته قال نافع فكان عبد الله بن عمر كذلك يصنع
