The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allow women to come to the mosque at night."A son of Abdullah bin Umar said, "By Allah, we will not allow them. They will use it as a pretext to fulfill their own desires."Abdullah rebuked him sharply and said, "Shame on you! I tell you that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said it, and you say, 'I will not do it'?"
حدثنا معاوية بن عمرو قال حدثنا زائدة عن الأعمش حدثنا مجاهد قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ ائذنوا للنساء إلى المسجد بالليل قال فقال ابن لعبد الله بن عمر والله لا نأذن لهن يتخذن ذلك دغلا لحاجتهن قال فانتهره عبد الله قال أف لك أقول قال رسول الله ﷺ وتقول لا أفعل
