He used to ride while throwing the pebbles at the Jamrah on the Day of Sacrifice, and walk on the other days. He would tell them that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do the same.

أنه كان يرمي الجمرة يوم النحر راكبا وسائر ذلك ماشيا ويخبرهم أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يفعل ذلك
