The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock. The ruler is a shepherd over his subjects and is responsible for them. The man is a shepherd over his household and is responsible for them. The servant is a shepherd over his master's property and is responsible for it. The woman is a shepherdess over her husband's home and is responsible for it."
حدثنا مؤمل بن إسماعيل حدثنا سفيان عن عبد الله بن دينار سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ كلكم راع وكلكم مسئول عن رعيته فالأمير راع على رعيته وهو مسئول عنهم والرجل راع على أهل بيته وهو مسئول عنهم والعبد راع على مال سيده وهو مسئول عنه والمرأة راعية على بيت زوجها ومسئولة عنه
Its isnad is sahih. Muammal bin Ismail, his reliability was already established at 97 and 2173. Sufyan is Thawri. The hadith is abridged from 4495, 5167, and see also 5869.
