The Prophet ﷺ was asked what is acceptable as witnesses regarding breastfeeding. He replied, "A man or a woman."I myself heard this from Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Abu Shayba.
Its isnad is daif. This has already come with the same isnad at 4911 from the narration of Ahmad, and at 4912 from the narration of his son Abdullah, both of them from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba. It has also already come at 4910 from the narration of Ahmad from Abdul-Razzaq from a shaykh of the people of Najran, and we mentioned there that this shaykh is Muhammad bin Utaym. It has also already come, in the narration of Ahmad, "a man or a woman," while in the narration of Abdullah bin Ahmad it is "a man and a woman." Here in this place the conjunction with "and" is established in H, and it comes likewise in M and K, so we have preferred to establish what is in the two manuscripts.
