The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the upper edge of the sun appears, delay the prayer until it has fully risen, and when the upper edge of the sun disappears, delay the prayer until it has fully set."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا طلع حاجب الشمس فأخروا الصلاة حتى تبرز وإذا غاب حاجب الشمس فأخروا الصلاة حتى تغيب
