I saw a woman come to Ibn Umar at Mina wearing a silk garment. She asked, "What do you say about silk?"He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade it."

Its isnad is daif, due to the unknown identity of the follower (tabii) who narrated from Ibn Umar.Abu Yunus Hatim bin Muslim, he is Hatim ibn Abu Sughayrah, whose reliability was already established at 1766, and we add here that Bukhari mentioned him in al-Kabir 2/1/71. As for this man from Quraysh from whom Abu Yunus heard, his identity is not known. Hafiz pointed to this narration in al-Tajil 538, but then said nothing about it, only marking the hadith with the symbol for al-Musnad. This indicates that the hadith belongs to the additional narrations (zawaid). However, I could not find it in Majma al-Zawaid, neither in the book of clothing nor in the book of Hajj. Perhaps it is something Haythami overlooked.Moreover, we do not know what it means. Is it about the prohibition of women wearing silk absolutely? But how could that be, when the sahih hadiths clearly state that it is permissible for them, as in the hadith of Ibn Umar and others, the closest of which is what has already passed in the hadith of Ibn Umar, 4978, 4979...!! Or is it about its prohibition for them during ihram? We have not seen any evidence for this at all.
