The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A fire will come forth from the direction of Hadramawt that will drive the people together."We asked, "What do you command us to do, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "You must go to Sham."
حدثنا يحيى بن إسحاق حدثنا أبان بن يزيد عن يحيى بن أبي كثير
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال تخرج نار من قبل حضرموت تحشر الناس قال قلنا فما تأمرنا يا رسول الله قال عليكم بالشأم
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 5376. Yahya bin Ishaq is Bajali Saylahini, a teacher of Ahmad. In ک, it appears instead as Ali bin Ishaq, and Ali bin Ishaq Sulami Marwazi is also among the teachers of Ahmad. We have preferred to keep what appears in م and ح because they agree with each other, and because Abu Aban bin Yazid Attar is mentioned among the teachers of the first, but is not mentioned among the teachers of the second.
