Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the first circumambulation, he would jog the first three rounds and walk the remaining four. When he made the going between Safa and Marwa, he would run swiftly through the bottom of the valley.

كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا طاف الطواف الأول خب ثلاثا ومشى أربعا وكان يسعى ببطن المسيل إذا طاف بين الصفا والمروة
