I was walking with Abdullah bin Umar when we came upon a head mounted on a piece of wood.He said, "Wretched is the one who killed this man."I said, "Are you the one saying this, Abu Abdul-Rahman?"He pulled his hand away from mine and said, "Abu Abdul-Rahman? I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'When a man from my nation walks toward another to kill him, and the other says such and such, the slain is in Paradise and the killer is in the Fire.'"

كنت أمشي مع عبد الله بن عمر فإذا نحن برأس منصوب على خشبة قال فقال شقي قاتل هذا قال قلت أنت تقول هذا يا أبا عبد الرحمن قال فشد يده من يدي وقال أبو عبد الرحمن سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إذا مشى الرجل من أمتي إلى الرجل ليقتله فليقل هكذا فالمقتول في الجنة والقاتل في النار
