I observed the Prophet ﷺ twenty-four or twenty-five times reciting in the two units of prayer before Fajr and after Maghrib, "Say, O disbelievers" [Kafirun 109:1] and "Say, He is Allah, the One" [Ikhlas 112:1].
حدثنا حجين بن المثنى حدثنا إسرائيل عن أبي إسحاق عن مجاهد
رمقت النبي ﷺ أربعا وعشرين مرة أو خمسا وعشرين مرة يقرأ في الركعتين قبل الفجر وبعد المغرب قل يا أيها الكافرون وقل هو الله أحد
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 5691. "Ramaqtuhu" means I followed him with my eyes, watching him, looking at him, and observing him. In a copy in the margin of M, it reads "raqabtu."
