Its isnad is hasan. Jafar bin Humayd Abu Muhammad Kufi is trustworthy, one of the teachers of Muslim and Abu Dawud. Muin and Ibn Hibban both deemed him trustworthy. He was a contemporary of Ahmad, though older than him. He died in the year 240, at the age of 90. This hadith is a repetition of the one before it.
