The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not prevent women from their share of the mosques when they ask your permission."Bilal said, "By Allah, we will prevent them."Abdullah said, "I tell you what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and you say, 'We will prevent them'?"

قال رسول الله ﷺ لا تمنعوا النساء حظوظهن من المساجد إذا استأذنكم فقال بلال والله لنمنعهن فقال عبد الله أقول قال رسول الله ﷺ وتقول لنمنعهن
Its isnad is sahih. Kaab bin Alqama bin Kaab Tanukhi Misri is trustworthy. Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators, and Ibn Abu Hatim gave his biography in Al-Jarh wal-Tadil 3/2/162 without mentioning any criticism of him.The hadith was narrated by Muslim, 1:129, through the route of Abdullah bin Yazid Muqri, who is Abdul-Rahman, from Saeed bin Abu Ayub, with this same isnad. We have already pointed to this narration of Muslim's at 4933, and its meaning has passed many times before, at length and in brief, the last of them at 5471.
