The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited this verse while he was on the pulpit, "And the heavens will be folded up in His right hand. Glory be to Him, exalted above what they associate with Him" [Zumar 39:67]. He said, "Allah says, 'I am the Compeller, I am the Proud, I am the King, I am the Most High,'" glorifying Himself.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ kept repeating it until the pulpit shook beneath him so much that we thought it would collapse with him on it.
حدثنا بهز وحسن بن موسى قالا حدثنا حماد بن سلمة أخبرنا إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة قال بهز في حديثه عن حماد قال حدثنا إسحاق بن عبد الله عن عبيد الله بن مقسم
قرأ رسول الله ﷺ هذه الآية وهو على المنبر {والسموات مطويات بيمينه سبحانه وتعالى عما يشركون} قال يقول الله أنا الجبار أنا المتكبر أنا الملك أنا المتعالي يمجد نفسه قال فجعل رسول الله ﷺ يرددها حتى رجف به المنبر حتى ظننا أنه سيخر به
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 5414. His saying "I am the King" is present in [H], and it was not mentioned in [K], but it was noted in the margin of [M] as an alternate reading.
