I heard Uthman delivering a sermon from the pulpit, saying, "I used to buy dates from a clan of the Jews called Banu Qaynuqa, then sell them at a profit measured by the saa. News of this reached the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, 'Uthman, when you buy, measure it out, and when you sell, measure it out.'"
