Whenever Abdullah returned from Hajj or Umra, he would have his camel kneel at the Batha valley in Dhul-Hulayfa. Abdullah related that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to rest there at the end of the night until he prayed the morning prayer.
قال قرأت على أبي قرة موسى بن طارق قال
كان عبد الله إذا صدر من الحج أو العمرة أناخ بالبطحاء التي بذي الحليفة وأن عبد الله حدثه أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يعرس بها حتى يصلي صلاة الصبح
This hadith and the seven hadiths after it (5595-5601) have a single sahih chain of transmission. This hadith was narrated by Muslim, 1:382, in a similar but abridged form, through Abu Damra from Musa bin Uqba. Bukhari narrated these eight hadiths except this first one, though it does appear in it implicitly with a similar meaning, through Anas bin Iyad, who is Abu Damra, from Musa bin Uqba. In some of his narrations he added more, bringing the total to nine hadiths, 1:469-471.Hafiz said in Fath al-Bari, "This passage (meaning Bukhari's passage) comprises nine hadiths, which Hasan bin Sufyan extracted in his Musnad separately, through Ismail bin Abu Uways from Anas bin Iyad, repeating the chain of transmission for each hadith, except that he did not mention the third one.
