The Prophet ﷺ forbade making vows and said, "A vow brings no good. It only extracts something from the miser."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن منصور عن عبد الله بن مرة
نهى النبي ﷺ عن النذر وقال إنه لا يأتي بخير وإنما يستخرج به من البخيل
Its isnad is sahih, and it is an abridgment of 5275.
