I heard a man from the Ansar of Banu Salama tell Abdullah bin Umar in the mosque that a slave girl belonging to Kaab bin Malik was tending a flock of his sheep at Sala. One of the sheep was attacked, and fearing it would die, she took a sharp stone and slaughtered it with it. They asked the Prophet ﷺ about this, and he instructed them to eat it.

سمعت رجلا من الأنصار من بني سلمة يحدث عبد الله بن عمر في المسجد أن جارية لكعب بن مالك كانت ترعى غنما له بسلع فعرض لشاة منها فخافت عليها فأخذت لخافة من حجر فذبحتها بها فسألوا النبي ﷺ عن ذلك فأمرهم بأكلها
