A woman was tending sheep belonging to the family of Kaab bin Malik at Sal, and she feared one of the sheep was about to die, so she slaughtered it with a stone. This was mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ, and he instructed them to eat it.
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا يحيى يعني ابن سعيد عن نافع أخبره
أن امرأة كانت ترعى على آل كعب بن مالك غنما بسلع فخافت على شاة منها الموت فذبحتها بحجر فذكر ذلك للنبي ﷺ فأمرهم بأكلها
